Norden is a twelve-cabin sauna retreat at the end of a fjord road. Wood-fired heat, a ladder into black water, and nothing between you and the aurora but your own breath.

The ritual
Three rounds. No phones. One very cold ladder.
Every evening follows the same old rhythm, led by a sauna master who has kept this fire for nineteen winters. You can't do it wrong — you can only do it slowly.
02 — PLUNGE

Forty paces down the jetty
The ladder is at the end. Exhale on the way in, count to thirty, climb out new. A guide stands on the dock with a lantern and a dry robe.
03 — SKY

Wool, lingonberry tea, and up
Rest on reindeer hides in the open-roof lounge. On clear nights the lights arrive between ten and two. We'll knock on your cabin if you've dozed off.

Come for an evening. Most people stay for the dark.
Twelve timber cabins, each with a glass gable facing north. Prices are per person and include the ritual, robes and everything you'll eat.
