02 · What we make

One character, everywhere your brand shows up.

We build the whole creature, not just a logo with eyes: who it is, how it moves, and every size it has to work at.

A

Character design

Personality first: a one-page bio, three silhouettes, a turnaround and an expression sheet you can brief anyone with.

B

3D sculpt & groom

Fur, felt, vinyl or clay. We sculpt, groom and light the character so it still looks touchable at thumbnail size.

C

Motion & reactions

An idle loop, blinks and a library of reactions (hello, yay, oops, thinking, sleepy) cut for product and social.

D

Real-time rig

A lightweight web rig that follows the cursor, answers taps and ships as one embed for your site or app.

E

Stickers, print & plush

Sticker sheets, packaging poses and a plush spec sheet a factory can actually quote from.

Chapter 03 · a character we made

Meet Mo.

Mo keeps people company while Penny Jar, a budgeting app, crunches their numbers. Scroll on and we will rebuild him from the first doodle.

03 · How a character is made

Stage 1 / 4

Week 1

Sketch

We start with who they are: a bio, a voice, three silhouettes. You pick one and we draw it until it is unmistakable in black and white.

Weeks 2–3

Sculpt

The chosen sketch becomes a clay-grey 3D sculpt. Proportions, eyes and the smile are settled here, before colour can distract anyone.

Week 4

Groom

Fur, felt or vinyl, then colour and light. Every strand is tuned so the character still reads at 48 pixels.

Weeks 5–6

Animate

Idle, blinks, reactions and the rig. Now it follows cursors, giggles when tapped and is ready to ship. Go on, tap him.

05 · Questions

Before you adopt.

Do we own the character?

Yes. Full copyright transfers to you on final payment, together with the source files, the rig and the brand sheet.

Will it work inside our app, not just the website?

The rig ships as a web embed, and we export loops and sprite sheets for native screens. We brief your developers, too.

What if our mascot shouldn't be cute?

Then it won't be. Grumpy, calm, nerdy, regal: personality is the brief, cuteness is optional.

How many revisions do we get?

Two rounds per stage. Most steering happens in Sketch, where changes are cheap and fast.

Can we stop after the sketch?

Yes. Sketch is billed on its own and the drawings are yours even if you never go to 3D.
